OBBA CARBON charcoal

•We produce charcoal from Latvian forests using a sustainable tree – white alder and pack it in paper bags of various sizes. Packing in bags of the client is also possible.

•Our charcoal is very light and has unique properties such as very fast ignition and ready to use within 15 minutes. In our experience, customers who have tried light charcoal from white alder don't go back to a “heavy” charcoal from high density wood as they like the speed and ease of igniting and reaching maximum temperatures.

•Since the product turns out to be very light and voluminous, we pack it in liters, not in kilograms. Our 50L bag contains approximately 6.5 kg of charcoal and the volume of this bag corresponds to a bag of 10-12 kg of hardwood charcoal. The buyer fills the grill by volume, not by kilogram, and we provide the same volume at a lower price.

•50L bags are restaurant quality lump charcoal. Large lumps 5 – 20 cm. The superior quality of our natural charcoal is appreciated by professional chefs and also family barbecue enthusiasts.

•Bags with a volume of 15 - 30 Liters are well suited for retail sales.
